How to pay with TON on TON
From your own wallet
- 01Make sure your wallet holds enough TON for the amount plus the network fee (about 1 cent).
- 02On the payment page, choose TON on TON and keep the page open.
- 03In Tonkeeper (or any Toncoin wallet), tap Send and choose TON.
- 04Scan the QR code for the address (or copy it), then type the amount from the page yourself.
- 05Enter the memo (comment) shown on the payment page. It’s required: without it the payment can’t be matched.
- 06Check the first and last 4 characters of the address (Starts with UQ or EQ, plus a memo) and that the amount matches to the last digit.
- 07Confirm the transfer.
- 08Keep the page open. It updates itself: “Payment seen” first, then “Paid” after a few seconds.
From an exchange
- 01On the payment page, choose TON on TON, then press “Paying from an exchange?”. You get an address-only QR code and copy buttons.
- 02In your exchange, open Withdraw (sometimes “Send”) and choose TON.
- 03For the network, choose TON (The Open Network). This is the step most mistakes happen in.
- 04Paste the address, then the memo from the payment page into the exchange’s Tag or Memo field. It’s required.
- 05For the amount, enter the amount due plus the exchange’s withdrawal fee, so the full amount arrives. The fee helper below does the sum. If the form shows “You will receive”, make that equal the amount due.
- 06Confirm with your 2FA code or email link. Exchanges can hold a withdrawal for a few minutes, sometimes longer for a first withdrawal to a new address.
