Canva Pro Price and How to Pay: Crypto, PayPal and Gift Cards
Canva Pro is $144 a year for one person. Which payment methods Canva takes, whether there’s a Canva gift card, and why you can’t pay with crypto.

This page sets out what Canva Pro costs, how Canva takes payment, and what you can do if you’d rather pay in crypto.
The facts below were checked on October 7, 2026. Canva’s pricing page now also offers AI Pass, a monthly add-on with Canva’s largest AI allowance for Pro and Business users who subscribe online. Its price isn’t shown publicly.

These are the yearly prices on Canva’s pricing pages. Canva’s prices exclude tax, and in the US it adds sales tax where required, based on your billing address.
Canva also has monthly billing, but the web monthly price didn’t show when we checked. In the US App Store, “Canva Pro - Monthly” is $18.00, “Canva Pro - Yearly” $143.99 and “Canva Business - Monthly” $25.00. The listing also shows other Pro prices ($14.99, $15.00 and $119.99) that appear to be older tiers. In the UK App Store, Pro Monthly is £12.99 to £13.00 and Pro Yearly £99.99 to £100.00.
If you’ve seen other prices: third-party trackers logged Canva Pro at $120 and $180 a year at points in 2026, but we found no Canva announcement of a price change.
Some people get Canva free. Canva for Education is free for K-12 teachers and the students they invite, though “College and university students are not eligible.” Canva’s pricing FAQ says nonprofits get a free subscription with Pro features for up to 50 users.
How Canva takes payment
Canva’s pricing FAQ says: “We accept Paypal and credit cards by major providers such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.” Its help page on supported payment options adds Google Pay, Stripe Link and a long list of local payment methods.

PayPal works in USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, SGD, MXN and CAD, for Pro or Teams plans, premium elements and Canva Print. It isn’t available in the mobile app.
Can you pay for Canva with crypto?
No. Crypto isn’t on Canva’s official list of supported payment options. There are two legitimate routes.
Subscribe in the app. The US App Store lists Canva Pro at $18.00 a month or $143.99 a year, alongside other price tiers. Apple charges your Apple Account balance before your card, though some subscriptions can’t be paid from balance. On Android, Google Play lists Canva’s in-app items at $1.49 to $300.00. Two catches: Canva coupon codes can’t be used on an App Store subscription, and refunds for it go through Apple.
Use a crypto debit card. It works like any other card at checkout, so Canva sees an ordinary card payment. The issuer will ask for your ID, and the card can be declined like any other. Our guide to declined AI subscription payments covers the usual reasons.
Avoid sellers who offer Canva Pro for a few dollars a year by inviting your email into their team. That isn’t an official purchase, the seat can be taken away at any time, and selling seats this way is outside Canva’s terms.
Canva gift cards, coupon codes and paying for someone else
Is there a Canva gift card? We found no Canva gift card or gift subscription on canva.com, and Canva’s payment options page doesn’t mention gift cards, so treat any “Canva gift card” sold elsewhere as unofficial.
What is canva.com/gift-certificates? A Canva Print page with templates for designing your own paper gift certificates, which Canva then prints, from $17 for 25 in the US. They hold no Canva credit and can’t be redeemed for Canva Pro.
Canva Pro coupon codes are real, but Canva doesn’t sell them as gift cards. They come from promotions and partners. Canva’s rules:
- Enter the code at checkout or at canva.com/redeem.
- Codes work “only on web or mobile web for recurring Monthly or Yearly plans”.
- If you already subscribe, you must “wait until your current billing period ends”.
- “Some codes have expiration dates.”
- App Store subscribers can’t use them.
Paying for someone else: you can add people to a Business plan, which is billed per person. On monthly plans you can change the team size at any time, and on annual plans Canva adjusts billing for added seats quarterly.

Is there a Canva gift card?
We found no official Canva gift card or gift subscription on canva.com. Canva’s gift certificates page is for designing printed certificates, and Canva Pro coupon codes come only from promotions or partners.
Does Canva accept PayPal?
Yes, when you use Canva in a computer browser, in seven currencies. PayPal isn’t available in the Canva mobile app.
Can I pay for Canva with crypto?
No. Crypto isn’t on Canva’s list of supported payment options. Besides the website checkout, you can subscribe in the Canva app through the App Store or Google Play.
Is Canva Pro free for students?

I subscribed on iPhone. Can I use a Canva Pro code?
No. Codes redeem only on the web or mobile web, and App Store subscribers can’t use them. Existing subscribers also have to wait until their billing period ends.
Can I get a refund on Canva Pro?
Usually not. Canva says its subscriptions generally aren’t refundable but that it reviews every request. If you subscribed through Apple, you ask Apple for the refund.
