On the web it bills through Stripe, and in the iPhone app it bills through Apple. Lovable does sell its own gift cards, though. This page covers Lovable pricing, how its gift cards work, and what you can pay for with crypto instead.
The facts here were checked on October 7, 2026. Several payment changes came in the past year: gift cards on December 23, 2025, credit top-ups on January 16, 2026, the iPhone and Android app worldwide on May 18, and a single credit balance for Cloud and AI usage on June 18.
Lovable plans and prices
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | What it’s for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | — | 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month |
| Pro, 100 credits | $25 | $250 ($21 a month) | The entry paid plan, with code editing, code download and custom domains |
| Pro, 200 credits | $50 | $500 | Twice the monthly credits |
| Pro, 10,000 credits | $2,250 | $22,500 | The largest Pro tier |
| Business, 100 credits | $50 | $500 ($42 a month) | Adds SSO, a security center and the Lovable API |
| Business, 10,000 credits | $4,300 | $43,000 | The largest Business tier |
| Enterprise | Custom | Custom | A contract with volume-based credits |
Pro comes in tiers from 100 to 10,000 credits a month, and Business climbs the same way. Prices are in US dollars. Lovable mentions “regional plans” but publishes no UK or EU price list. Yearly billing “gives you two months free.” Plans are priced by credits, not seats: “Workspaces support unlimited members on all plans.” Paid plans also get 5 build credits a day with no monthly cap.
If you run short, Pro workspaces can top up at $15 per 50 credits and Business at $30 per 50. Top-up credits last 12 months. Monthly plan credits expire two months after they’re issued.
Students and teachers can get 50% off Pro with 100 credits, billed monthly, for up to 12 months. You verify at lovable.dev/students with an academic email, and the offer is for workspaces on the Free plan only.
How Lovable takes payment
Lovable’s billing lives in a Stripe portal, where you can “add, replace, or remove a card or other payment method.” Credit top-ups are one-time Stripe payments. In the iPhone app, Apple bills you and handles receipts and refunds.
| Payment method | Accepted? |
|---|---|
| Cards | Yes, through Stripe |
| PayPal | Not mentioned in Lovable’s docs |
| Apple Pay or Google Pay on the web | Not mentioned in Lovable’s docs |
| Crypto (Bitcoin, USDT and others) | No |
| Lovable gift cards | Yes, official ones |
| App Store (iPhone) | Yes, one-month plans and credit packs |
| Google Play (Android) | No, check out on the web instead |
| Invoice | Enterprise contracts only |
Can you pay for Lovable with crypto?
No. Neither Lovable’s docs nor its terms (last updated August 28, 2026) mention crypto, and there’s no coin list or wallet address. These are the honest options.
Buy a plan in the iPhone app. A workspace on the Free plan can buy a plan through Apple. The US App Store lists a Pro Plan at $39.99 and a Business Plan at $79.99, more than the web’s starting prices of $25 and $50, and we couldn’t confirm how many credits the iPhone plans include. Pro workspaces can also buy credit packs: 25 credits for $9.99, 50 for $19.99 or 100 for $39.99. Plans bought in the app “cover one month at a time and do not renew automatically.” Apple charges your Apple Account balance before your card, though it notes that some subscriptions can’t be paid from balance.
Use a crypto debit card on the web. Cards from crypto exchanges sell your coins at the moment you pay, and Stripe sees an ordinary card. They can be declined like any card, and the card issuer will ask for your ID. Android users check out on the web too.
Have the owner or admin of a Lovable workspace buy you a gift card. It’s an official product, explained below.
What you shouldn’t do is buy Lovable accounts or credits from account marketplaces. Those listings are unofficial, and shared or resold accounts break Lovable’s terms.
Lovable gift cards and paying for someone else
Lovable launched gift cards on December 23, 2025, “making it easy to gift Lovable to friends, teammates, or clients.” This is how they work:
- Buying. Workspace owners and admins buy them inside a logged-in workspace, under Settings → Plans & credits usage. There’s no public gift card shop: lovable.dev/gift-cards returns a 404 page.
- Amounts. Lovable doesn’t publish the denominations.
- Redeeming. The recipient opens Workspace settings → Plans & credit usage, selects Manage on their plan card, and redeems the card in the Gift card balance box. Coupon codes are different and are entered at checkout when you upgrade.
- Spending. Lovable’s checkout wording says the gift card balance “covers this upgrade”, so it appears to work as money toward a plan. One third-party blog says gift cards only turn into credits, and Lovable hasn’t published the exact rules, so check the balance in Manage plan before you count on it.
We don’t sell Lovable gift cards here yet. Lovable sells them inside a workspace, not in a public store, so a “Lovable gift card” listed on another site isn’t sold by Lovable.
You can also pay for someone directly. Since a workspace has unlimited members, you can add them to your paid workspace and set a credit limit per member. If you refer them instead, they get 10 bonus credits, and you get 100 when they pay for their first Pro or Business plan.
Alternatives you can pay for with crypto
If you want to build software with AI and pay in USDT, Bitcoin, Monero or other coins, these are the closest things we sell:
- Replit gift cards are official cards whose value becomes credits for Replit Core or Teams. Replit is another platform for building apps with AI.
- Claude Pro and Max include Claude Code, Anthropic’s coding agent. See Claude Pro vs Max for how the limits work.
- ChatGPT Plus and Pro include Codex, OpenAI’s coding agent. ChatGPT Go vs Plus vs Pro compares the limits.
Our how to pay guide walks through each coin and network.
