Adobe Creative Cloud Price and How to Pay: Crypto, PayPal and Prepaid Codes

Adobe doesn’t accept crypto for Creative Cloud or Firefly. It does have something close to a gift card: official prepaid codes, sold by retailers, that start or extend an Adobe plan without a card. This page sets out what Creative Cloud and Firefly cost, how Adobe takes payment, and how those codes work. We don’t sell Adobe codes.

The facts below were checked on October 7, 2026. In March 2026 Adobe added Firefly Pro Plus, a 10,000-credit plan, and new subscription terms took effect on August 1, 2026.

Adobe Creative Cloud and Firefly plans and prices

These are the US prices Adobe’s plans pages showed on October 7, 2026. New subscribers pay $34.99 a month for the first three months of Creative Cloud Pro, and Firefly Pro Plus and Premium are 30% off: “First year only. Ends Oct 21.” Firefly Pro used to be $29.99 for 7,000 credits, and Adobe’s promotions page still mentions a 7,000-credit plan, so check the credits at checkout. The free Firefly app includes “a limited number of free daily generations.”

Outside the US, Adobe’s UK page shows Creative Cloud Pro “Regularly at £66.49/mo” and its German page “Normalerweise 77,99 €/Monat”, both including VAT on annual plans billed monthly.

How Adobe takes payment

Adobe’s online order and payment FAQ, updated January 27, 2026, is the official list: “Credit card payment is accepted for Creative Cloud memberships in all supported countries.”

Adobe no longer lists PayPal countries; you find out at checkout. Klarna isn’t available for Teams and “may perform a soft credit check.” An Adobe Community Expert has explained that your Adobe account’s country must match the store and your payment address.

Can you pay for Adobe with crypto?

No. Crypto isn’t in Adobe’s payment FAQ. There are three legitimate routes.

Buy an official prepaid code. Retailers sell prepaid codes for Creative Cloud plans. You pay the retailer instead of Adobe’s checkout, then redeem the code on your own Adobe account (details below).

Subscribe to a mobile plan in the app. In the US App Store, the Adobe Firefly app sells Firefly Mobile at $4.99 a month or $49.99 a year, plus credit packs from $4.99 for 500 credits. The Photoshop app sells Photoshop Mobile & Web at $7.99 a month. Apple charges your Apple Account balance before your card, though some subscriptions can’t be paid from balance. On Android, Google Play lists Firefly items at $4.99 to $49.99. None of these is Creative Cloud Pro.

Use a crypto debit card. It works like any other card at checkout, so Adobe sees an ordinary card payment. The issuer will ask for your ID, and the card can be declined like any other; our guide to declined AI subscription payments covers why. The student plan “must be purchased with a credit card by someone who is at least 18 years old.”

Don’t buy a “pre-activated” Adobe account or a cheap key from a marketplace. Adobe Community moderators tell buyers to purchase “from Adobe Website or from the authorized resellers”. Shared accounts and grey-market keys break Adobe’s terms and can be revoked.

Adobe prepaid codes and gift cards

We found no stored-value Adobe gift card on adobe.com. Adobe has prepaid cards and redemption codes for specific plans, sold by stores and online retailers. How they work, according to Adobe:

• Codes cover Creative Cloud (Pro, Standard and single apps), Firefly Pro, Acrobat, Student and Teacher editions, and Elements.
• On a physical card, the code is “beneath the scratch-off foil on the back of the card”.
• You redeem Creative Cloud codes at redeem.adobe.com, and Acrobat codes at redeem.adobe.com/acrobat.
• No card is needed: “you can skip entering credit card details by selecting Remind me later.”
• If you already subscribe, the prepaid time is added to your account and the expiry date updates “immediately to reflect the added time.”

Adobe points buyers to adobe.com or to authorized resellers in its Partner Directory. Retail prices vary: a Slickdeals post on August 13, 2026 showed B&H selling a 12-month Creative Cloud Pro code for $428.99, a deal that has since expired.

To give Adobe to someone, give them a prepaid code to redeem on their own account. If they already subscribe, an Adobe Community Expert suggested checking with Adobe support first. The adobe.com pages titled “gift card” are promotions where Adobe gives you an Amazon gift card for subscribing, not Adobe gift cards.

Does Adobe accept PayPal?

Only “in a few supported countries.” Adobe doesn’t publish the list, so you see whether PayPal is offered at checkout.

Can you pay for Adobe Creative Cloud with crypto?

No. Crypto isn’t one of Adobe’s payment methods. Outside Adobe’s own checkout, the official options are a prepaid code from a retailer or a mobile plan through the App Store or Google Play.

Is there an Adobe Creative Cloud gift card?

Not a stored-value one. Retailers sell official prepaid cards and redemption codes for specific plans, which you redeem at redeem.adobe.com.

Can I pay Adobe in installments?

Only through Klarna, in the US, UK and Germany, on a yearly plan billed upfront.

How much is Adobe Creative Cloud Pro?

Adobe lists it at $69.99 a month in the US on an annual plan billed monthly, with new subscribers paying $34.99 a month for the first three months.

Can I get a refund from Adobe?

Cancel within 14 days of your first order and Adobe refunds you in full. After that, cancelling an annual plan billed monthly costs 50% of the remaining contract (in California, 30% of the annual commitment), and monthly and annual prepaid plans aren’t refunded.
